Hello, 

Welcome to my first ever Nail Art Tutorial....

As this is my first post I just wanted to explain that I'm not in any means a professional Nail Artist. For the past year I have been experimenting with nail art and now completely head over heels addicted to it. Plain nails are just not an option these days...

These nails are based on Alexa Chung's evil eyes she been seen wearing for the last few months...

Step 1:

Prep your nails and apply a base coat. I've gone for Rimmel 'Libertine Rose' but this design will go with most colours or you could go for natural a la Alexa. Allow to fully dry before starting step 2.

Step 2:

Draw an eye shape on each nail using an nail art pen. 

Once the outline is dry fill in with a white nail art pen or with varnish and a pen. Don't worry if it's a bit wobbly, you can always touch it up at the end. 

Step 3:

When the white is dry add the eye colour using nail pen or a blob of nail varnish. I've gone for green and gold for the thumb. Also add the eye lashes and then pupils...

Step 4:

When you have finished adding will the features, if needed using a the black pen touch up any wobbly lines or mistakes. Then make sure you use a layer of top coat to finish the design off.

Step 5:

Admire your nails....
